We are EPTISA - Leaders in Consulting and Engineering Services

International engineering, architecture, consulting, and information technology company

EPTISA Regional Office for Southeast Europe

Founded in Spain in 1956, EPTISA is an international consulting, engineering, architecture, and information technology company, devoted to the provision of reliable services to a wide variety of clients, and carrying out complex projects in the fields of Transport Infrastructure, Water and Environment, Building and Architecture, Energy, Health, GIS and Information Technologies, and Socioeconomic Development and Public Administration Reform.

With annual revenues of over €135 million and with more than 100 projects under implementation in 55 countries worldwide, EPTISA can fulfill the requirements of every public or private entity. At present, the company employs more than 1,800 professionals, with over 1,000 experts involved in international projects.

Since 2002, our international activities in Southeast Europe (SEE) experienced an enormous growth, leading to the establishment in 2005 of EPTISA Regional Office for SEE, based in Belgrade (Serbia). In 2012 and 2013 EPTISA set up additional subsidiary companies in the Republic of Croatia, Republic of North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2014 EPTISA continued its expansion in the region with the opening of an office in Montenegro. Completing the network of country offices, in 2015 we set up EPTISA Illyria, covering the territories of Albania and Kosovo. The new companies coordinate all the commercial efforts and undertake the project management and quality control for all the assignments implemented by EPTISA in these countries.

Resources optimisation, contacts with the local market, and proximity with the final beneficiary constitute the basis of our work in Southeast Europe.

A few things EPTISA SEE has to offer

   Quality and Project Management

Quality Assurance and Quality Control represent key elements in EPTISA’s value creation. In all our assignments we apply a company quality system that assures an efficient implementation in terms of time and resources. We also believe that a sound project management plays a crucial role for the efficient administration of any consultancy contract and in the successful delivery of the expected project results. For this reason, we have built a team of Project Managers with excellent qualities, skills, knowledge of state-of-the-art project management tools, and familiarity with the different IFI’s management procedures.

   Proximity

In the last years, EPTISA has implemented over 150 IFI-funded Technical Assistance Projects in Southeast Europe. Our long lasting presence in the region has enhanced even more our understanding of the local contexts. Apart from giving a good insight of the peculiarities of the area, this permanent presence facilitates a much closer control of our projects and enables a quicker reaction capacity in case of contingencies during a project implementation.

   Client Orientation

Our Clients and Beneficiaries are our most precious asset. In order to be aligned with their objectives, EPTISA’s teams endeavor to build on a good relationship between all the parties involved in any project implementation. We devote a great deal of time listening to and communicating with Beneficiaries. This approach reflects a core belief that Investment in People and Human Resources Development are absolutely vital in order to guarantee project sustainability.

   Gender and Minority Equality

EPTISA promotes the provision of equal opportunities and the non-discrimination of women, minorities and vulnerable groups. Our Teams have a deep understanding and experience in establishing an effective dialogue with minority communities and in adopting participatory approaches to ensure their inclusion. In all our assignments we take these issues into consideration, while the fulfilment of the project requirements is also rigorously respected.
