Project Description:
The overall objectives of the project are to contribute to the sustainable return of refugees and social and economic welfare of the Lika-Senj County, through inclusion of all sectors in major development projects, and to improve the competitive economic performance and enhance its market ‘image’ to attract inward investments, improve GDP and reduce unemployment.
The project aims to improve the institutional capacities and capabilities at a county-wide and local municipal level to facilitate and support joint public and private sector economic development initiatives.
The project was developed through three different components:
- Infrastructure technical documentation;
- Support to labour market; and
- Supply chain development activities.
