The overall objective of the project were related to compliance with EC Directives on drinking water, urban wastewater treatment, safe disposal of sludge, and industrial wastewater discharge, mitigation of health risks and savings in operational costs related to the management of water and wastewater systems.

The main activities developed under this TA contract included:

Procurement Support;
Supervision of the Works Contracts;
Management Support to the Beneficiary;
Public Awareness and Publicity to the ISPA Measure.
