New contract for implementation of renewable energy feasibility studies in Serbia

With the budget of € 923,860 this project intends to facilitate increase of the share of renewable sources and to support promotion of investment in renewable energy projects.

The new EU funded project in Serbia will be implemented by Eptisa Regional Office for SEE in association with NIPSA as leading partner and SOCOIN as the second partner.

The project will be implemented through 2 main tasks:

a)   Providing technical support to the Ministry of Mining and Energy to:

• Prepare secondary legislation  regarding market regulation;
• Prepare feed-in tariff and model power purchase agreement;
• Prepare concession procedure for Small Hydro Power Plants(SHPP);

b)  Prepare pre-feasibility studies with a clear indication of the economic and financial feasibility of SHPP.

Duration of this project is 10 months.
