Consultant services for supervision and quality control of all design projects involving civil works contracted by the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance. The design projects to be reviewed refer to roads, ports, subway, airports, railways and similar transport infrastructure.

Type of services provided:

The quality control assessment was focused on several design specifications typical of engineering design projects, such as:

Elaboration of materials quality control reports conducted by the state and/or state accredited laboratories for civil works. The review reports include client assessment as to whether the extent and scope of analysis are in compliance with the TORs;
Conduct field site investigations in order to assure that laboratory samples were correctly taken and registered;
Conduct regular inspections of the quality control systems used by Consultants, including procedures, results reports, laboratory and sample equipments used;
Conduct additional sample collections at the working site in order to assure a full compliance with the TOR;
Conduct quantitative sample control that directly affects quantities assessment as defined in the design specification project.
