Project Description:

The Project involved construction of 16.9 kilometers of road and associated structures, of which 2.9 kilometers are tunnels, aimed to improve the connection to the Arganzuela district.

Activities included:

• Technical Assistance;
• Supervision and monitoring of quality assurance system;
• Supervision of works and monitoring construction procedures;
• Supervision and qualitative follow-up of the works and the constructor’s quality assurance plan: qualitative and geometrical exterior control of the quality and quantitative control of executed works;
• Assessment and control in quality of materials;
• Surveillance of the fulfilment of environmental impact restrictions;
• Implementation Supervision and Monitoring and Development of Insurance Plan of Contractor Quality;
• Surveillance in the fulfilment of safety and health restrictions and Coordination of safety and health procedures.
