Business Development Executive

As a result of our growing activity in the Institutional, Economic and Social Development sector in the region of SEE, EPTISA is searching for qualified Business Development Executive.

The preferred professional characteristics of the potential candidates are the following:

  1. Accomplished relevant university degree;
  2. Excellent command of English where an advanced certification level combined with a practical use in daily work is a must;
  3. High computer literacy. Proficient user of MS Office, Internet and Outlook, advanced user of Word and Excel;
  4. Outstanding drafting, negotiation and analytical skills;
  5. Hardworking and reliable person, with proven track record of professional results in a similar business setting (reference letters with contact details are mandatory);
  6. Well-mannered with proper work conduct, proactive and dedicated to achieving work tasks;
  7. A confident, credible personality;
  8. Experience in the preparation of projects/ tenders for EU or other International Financial Institution-funded projects will be considered an asset;
  9. Serbian citizen or foreign national with a valid working permit in Serbia.

Qualifications and skills:

  1. University degree, minimum 2 years of working experience;
  2. Experience in one of the following fields is a must: Human Rights, Social Inclusion, Socio Economic Development, Justice, Public Administration Reform, Civil Society Development or Education;
  3. Basic knowledge of project preparation is a must;
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  5. Able  to  demonstrate  strong  planning and teamwork skills;
  6. Accuracy and attention to detail;
  7. Work ethics, dynamism and ability to cope with multiple tasks;
  8. Sound problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cover all parts of business development: identification of opportunities, business intelligence and networking, identification of consortium partners, preparation of expressions of interest, tender proposal preparation including planning, logical framework, time plans, search for and contracting of experts, drafting project strategy proposal;
  2. Implement and drive a structured bid management process to deliver competitive tenders;
  3. Represent the company on various meetings and events;
  4. Understand and manage client expectations and requirements.
