The seventh regional conference “Environment for Europe- EnE11” was held in Belgrade on June 7-8, as part of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for the marking of World Environment Day (WED).

The conference is traditionally organised by Environmental Ambassadors and Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and supported by EPTISA Regional Office for SEE. The manifestation has been backed by the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management, Ministry of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning, Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Belgrade, Private University ‘Educons’, Concern Bambi Banat and Strauss Adriatic.

The goal of this conference was to promote the concept of sustainable development, exchange of experiences and knowledge at the local, regional and international level.

The regional conference specifically focused on rural and sustainable mountain development, and provided educational and partner institutions with an opportunity to present their researches and exchange views and experiences on these topics.

EPTISA is working for more than a decade in the region of South-East Europe and will continue to invest its efforts in all the initiatives which aim is environmental protection and sustainable development.
