Project Description:
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the visibility of the project implementation (regarding the construction of CWMC Mariscina in Primorsko-Goranska County) in order to gain public support for the project and the implementation of an integrated waste management system. The purpose of this project is to increase the target groups’ awareness about the necessity of construction of CWMC Mariscina in Primorsko-Goranska County.
In particular, the project is focusing on informing and raising public understanding about the need for the landfill project, and its costs and benefits, both long-term and short-term – environmental, social, financial and health aspects and encouraging inhabitants’ participation in implementation of public relations events in Primorsko-Goranska County.
In addition, the Consultants will work on increasing the public acceptance of Ekoplus as a relevant body in the process of implementing a solid waste management system in Primorsko-Goranska County and increasing the knowledge, skills and capacity of Ekoplus Ltd. and other participants on (a) public relation issues and (b) measures for the smooth implementation of the project.
The Consultants will deliver promoted, published and/or disseminated well targeted PR tools and materials and education activities through workshops, training sessions, seminars and panel discussions positively evaluated by participants. All education activities will be organized in accordance with best practices and with high quality standards;
