Project Description:

The project aimed at contributing to the reconstruction of the water sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the Una Sana Canton, Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Republika Srpska to restore pre-war conditions of water supply facilities.

The activities conducted within the project included:

• Technical assistance and engineering for network management and leak detection;
• Works supervision in accordance to FIDIC contract management for works;
• Training of utility staff in leak detection and hydraulic modelling;
• Review of the utilities’ institutional and organisational set-up;
• Assistance in financial management, etc.
