Project Description:
The main objective of the project was the study and analysis of the present situation of the current pressure piping for the drinking water supply. The supply was estimated for a 229,750 inhabitants, which are distributed in 86 municipalities, and with an estimated length for the pipe network of 475 km.
The project included an intensive study of the different supply alternatives, and a final comparison of the solutions proposed in order to assure the supply in quantity and quality, and considering a growth in the demand, to triple the number of inhabitants in the coming years.
The project was carried out in 3 phases:
- Water conduction;
- WWTP and pumping station;
- Distribution.
The total budget for the project was € 41,468,638
