Project Description:
The main aim of the contract is to reinforce Ministry’s of Finance capacities in order to improve public administration transparency and credibility through a better coherence and efficiency in public expenditure management.
Activities include:
- Reinforcing the relation between planning and budgeting;
- Facilitating the elaboration and implementation of integrated development strategies and programmes;
- Improving of Medium term Budgeting rules and regulation;
- Supporting mid-term budgeting process through the introduction and dissemination of the different techniques and procedures associated with the MTEF;
- Capacity development in internal controlling and internal auditing activates within the process of public budgeting;
- Improving public expenditure efficiency;
- Strengthening inter-institutional coordination in budgeting process.
